Our Focus
Missions at FBC is all about obeying the commands of Jesus in the Great Commission. We send out cross-cultural evangelists and church planters to the least-reached people groups. Our missionaries live all over the world, including places like Brazil, Czechia, Japan, Thailand, and right down the road here in South Carolina.
Our primary focus is evangelism and church planting, but our missionaries also take care of people in practical ways, equipping the national churches to engage effectively in their local communities.
Our Commitment
A portion of every Sunday morning Worship Service is spent praying for one of our 10 financially and prayer-supported missionaries. FBC financially supports missions, contributing almost 25% of the church budget to cross-cultural missions.
Our Missions Team
The Missions Team makes recommendations to the elders on the practical aspects of recruiting, sending, supporting, and caring for our missionaries. The Missions Team also considers how we can encourage FBC members toward greater obedience to the Great Commission.
